My name is Lori Widders. I was born in Lebanon, Pa and graduated from Cedar Crest High School. I worked in the accouting field for 20+ years and the real estate field for 4 years prior to owning Happy Hounds.
I now live in Manheim with my husband Jeff and Golden Retriever Cooper and English Setter Winston.
I just love dogs and that's how I became the owner of Happy Hounds Daycare. Pat Haller started the Daycare in May of 2005 and in a conversation I had with her in the fall of 2007, she was planning on closing down the daycare when her lease was up in May of 2008. My first thought was "What will I do with my dogs when I can't get home for lunch to let them out?". Well one thing led to another and on October 1, 2008 I purchased Happy Hounds Daycare from her. Now I have my fill of dogs daily and Jeff doesn't have to worry about me bringing any more home. |
